GRL to Demo UHS-II Protocol Test Solution at 2014 Flash Memory Summit
SANTA CLARA, Calif., August 5, 2014 – Granite River Labs (GRL), a leading provider of memory card compliance and stress testing services and software, will showcase the industry’s first UHS-II Protocol Test Solution at the 2014 Flash Memory Summit at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The demonstration will be held August 6 and 7 at the SD Association booth (#825).
GRL’s UHS-II Card and Host tester is the only commercially-available solution for testing conformance with SD Association UHS-II Protocol Test Guideline version 1.0 at the click of a button. This combined hardware and software test platform provides a self-verification environment for UHS-II product developers, covering almost all items defined in the SDA UHS-II Protocol Test Specification as well as a highly configurable environment for stress testing and validation.
In addition, GRL Director of Signal Integrity Engineering Miki Takahashi will present “Taking Full Advantage of Ultra High Speed SD Cards” at 8:30am Thursday August 7th (OPEN Forum L-31: Memory Card Applications (Memory Cards Track)). The presentation will highlight advantages of UHS-II technology and techniques to leverage these advantages. Takahashi-san currently chairs the SD Card Association UHS Task Group, driving signal integrity discussion and test specification for UHS-II (SD4.0).
